AAPPO
The American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO) is the leading national association of preferred provider organizations (PPOs) and affiliate organizations, and was established in 1983 to advance awareness of the benefits — greater access, choice and flexibility — that PPOs bring to American health care.
AASCIF
The American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds, or AASCIF, is an association of workers' compensation insurance companies from 27 different states, plus 10 workers' compensation boards in Canada. In the US, these companies--loosely referred to as state funds--each specialize in writing workers' compensation insurance in a single state. Some of these companies operate as private insurance companies, whereas others act as agencies of their respective state governments.
AHIP
America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is the national association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health insurance coverage to more than 200 million Americans. Our member companies offer medical insurance, long-term care insurance, disability income insurance, dental insurance, supplemental insurance, stop-loss insurance and reinsurance to consumers, employers and public purchasers.
CAQH®
CAQH, a nonprofit alliance of health plans, trade associations and networks, is a catalyst for industry collaboration on initiatives that simplify healthcare administration for health plans and providers, resulting in a better care experience for patients and caregivers.
The CAQH Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE™)
CAQH launched CORE to give providers access to eligibility and benefits information before or at the time of service using the electronic system of their choice for any patient or health plan, effectively reducing administrative burden and costs.
NCPDP
The National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Inc. (NCPDP) is a not-for-profit ANSI-Accredited Standards Development Organization consisting of over 1,500 members representing virtually every sector of the Pharmacy services industry.
WEDI
The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) is an industry association dedicated to improving healthcare through effective and efficient electronic commerce. WEDI provides leadership and guidance to the healthcare industry on how to use and leverage the industry’s collective knowledge, expertise and information resources to improve the quality, affordability and availability of healthcare.
